On Site Training Utilization Workshops

Utilization Training Would you like to find out how you can use Workplace Essential Skills or GED Connection even more effectively with your learners? Participate in one of KET's Utilization Workshops - designed to create opportunities for professionals to network and learn from each other and to hear from recognized experts.

Whether you're a teacher, an administrator, a broadcaster, a corrections educator, or a family literacy provider, you'll learn new ways to reach learners more effectively. Sessions include presentations by video and workbook producers to talk about purpose and best practices, and integrating video, print and online lessons. Hands-on computer labs give participants an opportunity to explore and familiarize themselves with online elements.

Utilization Training Prices vary depending on location, meals, materials and equipment requirements; we make every effort to keep costs to a minimum, while providing maximum opportunity for a rich experience. LiteracyLink On Site Training Packages

1 Day Training: Workplace Essential Skills or GED Connection Awareness & Implementation Workshop or Online Management System Workshop

Participants will explore and use the Workplace Essential Skills or GED Connection materials, including workbooks and teacher guide, videos and online lessons.
Hands-on, small group sessions.
A maximum of 20 participants and a lab equipped with 20 computers and Internet access assure a rich learning environment.

Teachers who participate in and successfully complete KET authorized Train the Trainer Workshops (presented by KET staff or representatives) will have access to online workshop training materials.

1 Day Workshop Trainer Fees (2 Trainers): $4,300. plus actual travel and expenses for two trainers plus Materials @ $50 per Participant x 20 participants.

1.5 Day Train the Trainer Workshop: Workplace Essential Skills or GED Connection

Trainers will learn how to use and teach others to use the Workplace Essential Skills or the GED Connection materials.
Hands-on, small group, demonstration and action planning.
Participants will design and present multi-media lessons during the 2nd day of training.
A maximum of 20 participants and a lab equipped with 20 computers and Internet access.

Teachers who participate in and successfully complete KET authorized Train the Trainer Workshops (presented by KET staff or representatives) will have access to online workshop training materials.

1.5 Day Train the Trainer Workshop Trainer Fees (2 Trainers): $5,000. plus actual Travel and Expenses for 2 Trainers plus Materials @ $50 per Participant x 20 participants.

3 Day Train the Trainer Workshop: 1.5 Day Workplace Essential Skills Plus 1.5 Day GED Connection

Back to back Train the Trainer sessions---1.5 days each---for programs who need to implement both Workplace Essential Skills and the GED Connection systems.
Training sessions usually begin on a Tuesday morning and end on the following Friday afternoon.
A maximum of 20 participants and a lab equipped with 20 computers and Internet access.

Teachers who participate in and successfully complete KET authorized Train the Trainer Workshops (presented by KET staff or representatives) will have access to online workshop training materials.

2 Day and a Half Train the Trainer Workshops Trainer Fees (2 Trainers): $7,175. plus actual Travel and Expenses for 2 Trainers plus Materials @ $50 per Participant X 20 Participants.
